These Terms govern your use of crispy.works and tools+ (“the Service”), operated under the Crispy name. By purchasing or using tools+, you agree to them. Questions can be sent to admin@crispy.works.

Purchase and access

tools+ is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Payment, taxes, invoices and receipts are handled by Polar Software, Inc., the merchant of record. Access is linked to the email used at checkout and may be restored with a one-time email code. You are responsible for entering a working email and keeping access to it.

License

Your purchase grants one person a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use tools+ features and included asset libraries. You may use work you create with the Service for personal and commercial projects.

You may not share or sell access; redistribute, republish or host the tools, their source code or included source assets; remove access controls; or make the Service available to others as a competing product. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only where permitted by law.

Updates and early access

The purchase includes the tools+ bundle, its updates and early-access versions while they are offered as part of tools+. Early-access features are unfinished and may change, break or be removed. We may improve, replace or discontinue features and cannot promise that the Service, every tool or every hosted version will remain available forever.

Your content

You keep all rights to files you load and work you create. You confirm that you have the right to use those files and that your use does not violate law or another person’s rights. Unless a tool clearly says otherwise, files loaded into a tool are processed in your browser and are not intentionally uploaded to Crispy.

Availability and responsibility

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or a particular creative result. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Crispy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Suspension and changes

Access may be suspended or revoked for a refund, chargeback, fraud, access sharing or a material breach of these Terms. We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.

Information we handle

We receive your purchase email, Polar customer and order identifiers, product identifier and access status. For sign-in and abuse prevention we process your email, one-time-code records, an essential session token, timestamps, and hashed email and IP-address records. Hosting providers may also process basic request and security logs.

The checkout is operated by Polar. Crispy does not receive or store your full card number or security code. A checkout email is kept temporarily in your browser session to complete the return from Polar. The site may store non-identifying interface preferences locally in your browser.

Why we use it

We use this information to complete purchases, provide and restore access, send requested access codes, prevent abuse, answer support requests, keep the Service secure and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use the access email for marketing without separate permission.

Service providers

Polar handles checkout, payment, tax and receipts. Cloudflare provides site delivery, security, Workers, D1 database and R2 storage. Resend delivers transactional access-code emails. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy and may process it in other countries.

Cookies and retention

The essential crispy_session cookie keeps Pro access active on a browser for up to 180 days. It is HttpOnly and Secure in production. One-time codes expire after 10 minutes; code and anti-abuse records are kept only for a short operational period. Purchase entitlement records are kept while needed to provide access, handle refunds, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete information held by Crispy. Deleting the purchase email or entitlement record may make purchase restoration and Pro access unavailable. Billing or payment-data requests may need to be sent directly to Polar. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to a data-protection authority.

Security, children and changes

We use reasonable technical measures, but no online system is completely secure. The Service is not directed to children under 13; anyone who cannot legally agree to these Terms should use it only with a parent or guardian. We may update this policy and will post the revised date here.

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase by emailing admin@crispy.works from the purchase email. Include the Polar order or receipt number if available.

How refunds work

Approved refunds are issued through Polar to the original payment method. A full refund revokes tools+ access and ends the related license. Bank processing times may vary. Purchases made with a 100% discount have no paid amount to return.

After 14 days

After the 14-day period, refunds are normally limited to duplicate charges, failure to deliver access, or a material technical problem that we cannot resolve. Polar may also issue refunds under its buyer terms or to prevent a payment dispute.

Mandatory rights

This policy does not limit any refund, withdrawal, chargeback or other consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Please contact us before opening a chargeback so we can try to resolve the problem quickly.
